Shanghai Pudong International Airport Terminal Change

Print. Close.
Air New Zealand has changed terminals at Shanghai/Pudong International Airport (PVG) from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2 from 29 April 2008.

The check-in counters for Air New Zealand along with other Star Alliance Carriers will be located in areas B, C, D and E. Shanghai Airlines check-in counters will be located in area J with Air China in area H. There will be no change to airport phone/fax numbers, or printer addresses.

With the capacity to handle 40 million passengers a year, Terminal 2 has been designed to meet the projected needs of the World Expo Shanghai 2010 and is a key project of the Shanghai Pudong Hub.

Lounge Access

Air New Zealand Business Premier passengers along with Gold & Gold Elite card holders will have access to the Shanghai Airlines Lounge, conveniently located in the centre of the International Departure's Hall.

Covering more than 2,000 square metres, it is the most spacious international VIP Lounge in Terminal 2, offering some 400 seats, a massage and rest area as well as showers, making it the first lounge ever in China to be equipped with such a facility. A five-star hotel will provide both authentic Chinese and Western catering for the lounge.
