Where the rules or fare conditions differ between the outbound and return journeys, the most restrictive conditions will apply for the whole journey.

Applicable for Economy W/T/L/K/S/G class departing from mainland China*
Changes
- W/T/L class: Changes before / after departure charge CNY ¥800 for reissue or revalidation. The new fare must be equal or greater than the original ticket fare.
- S class: Changes before departure charge CNY ¥1,000 for reissue or revalidation. The new fare must be equal or greater than the original ticket fare.
- K/G class: Non-changable.
- All changes must be made within the validity of the original ticket.
- Fare difference applies.
- Service fee CNY ¥300 applies.
Cancellation
- W/T/L class: Cancellation before departure, CNY ¥1,000 penalty fee applies. After departure ticket is non-refundable. Also applies to partially used tickets and for no show.
- K/S/G class: Non-refundable.
- Service fee CNY ¥300 applies.
If departing during peak season 24Jan-31Jan 2025, refund penalty CNY ¥5,000 applies.
For passengers who encountered NZ entry visa rejection, it is fully refundable with only a process fee of CNY ¥50 per person. Copy of passport with an official visa rejection by Immigration New Zealand should be submitted as supporting document 14 days prior to departure date.
Non-refundability and/or cancellation penalty waived in case of death of passenger or immediate family member.
Note: Full refund of unused tickets in the event of a death of the passenger or his/her immediate family member or any person booked to accompany the passenger or the immediate family of any person booked to accompany the passenger. "Immediate family" are: "Spouse, children (including adopted children), parents, brothers, sisters, grandparents, grandchildren, parents-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law".
No Show
- W/T/L class: Both no show penalty CNY ¥2,000 and change fee CNY ¥800 apply for changes, plus fare difference applies. The new fare must be equal or greater than the original ticket fare. Changes must be within the validity of the original ticket. Non-refundable.
- K/S/G class: Non-changeable. Non-refundable for cancellations.
- Service fee CNY ¥300 applies.
Baggage Allowance
- 2 piece per person (excluding infants) - maximum 23kg each.
- If exceeded and prepaid Extra Bags have not been selected, airport excess baggage charges apply.
- Stated allowance applies to Air New Zealand operated services only. Please refer other carrier's website for allowance on their services.

- W/T/L/S/G/K class: Subject to HK$2,200 cancellation fee for totally unused ticket only. For partially used tickets, refund applied only if residual is available after deducting the applicable fare (same or higher class code) of the flown sector plus cancellation fee HK$2,200.
- P class: Non-refundable.
